Hello! I’m so happy you’re here!

I’m Carly!

I struggle every morning to tear myself away from the sleepiest, cuddliest dog that’s ever lived. I wouldn’t get by without the unconditional support of caffeine, comfy clothes, and tiny pretty things that keep me creative and light.

I view my role in therapy as a partner and a safe environment for my clients as they learn to hear, trust, and use their voices after the world has worked tirelessly to keep them quiet. I thrive in the real, raw, and grounded parts of life and hold space for my clients as they learn to unpack, access, and integrate their truth in those areas.

I have spent my career working with and learning from people that have experienced traumatic events, environments, and relationships. I use an integrated therapeutic approach that includes skills within my training capacity of EMDR, IFS, narrative therapy, mindfulness, somatic, and other trauma-informed and inclusive techniques.

I affirm and value the lives and experiences of all people, including people of all sizes, people of color, indigenous heritage, those who identify within the LGBTQ+ spectrum, and all intersecting identities and experiences they hold.

I have been a therapist, advocate, and social worker in the Athens and Atlanta areas since 2016. I graduated with my Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia and am Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia.

You are not alone.
